Salvation Army Seattle Temple Corps Oasis of Love is a page about a pamphlet I created to use in evangelism and recruiting of soldiers for The Salvation Army Seattle Temple Corps.

I made up flyers and pamphlets based on The Seattle Temple Corps as An "Oasis of Love." A full description and samples are coming soon. This pamplhlet was the fore runner of a "website." It included photos of different events and activities of the corps and was a great inroduction to the people of the coprs. In the pamphlet was information about how to get involved in the corps and how to get into the various groups in the corps. I placed photos of every possible class, group or activity that a person could join and who to talke to about becoming a part of the corps.

These pamplets were placed on a table in the entrance to the corps and were taken with the Evangelism Explosion Teams when we went visiting every Tuesday and Thursday night. Whenever we visited anybody who had questions about the Temple Corps or The Salvation Army, we would modify the pamphlets to include the questions and answers. The use of these pamplets was a cause for such a high number of people responding to our invitiations during our visits in their homes.
