Privacy is a major issue these days, especially on the internet. There is a fairly standard policy for genealogical websites. Only persons who are deceased will have their names and dates of birth displayed to the public. Dates of death and relatives' information are also published for the deceased. Information about children, spouses and parents is displayed if they are deceased. Relatives who are still living have the word "Private" or "Living" in the list of relatives wih no further personal information published except links in the family tree.
An ancestoral tree will be provided to anybody who can establish his or her identitiy which will include ALL information about that persons parents, grandparents and other ancestors.
