The Mission of the The Salvation Army Gulf Coast Area Band was:

To take Jesus to all the world. OK, Ok, to take Jesus to East Texas and North East Mexico.
To Support the Texas Divisional Commander as needed.
To Support the Houston Area Commander as needed.
To Support Each of the Corps Officers in the Houston Area Comand as needed.
To Represent the Salvation Army throughout the Houston Area Command area of influence and Northeast Mexico.
